Admin → Theatre Seasons defines the planning year’s frames: named periods like “2026 / 2027” with start and end dates.

The season is used in several places:

  • The season view in the planner draws productions across the season’s months.
  • Holidays can be scoped to a season, so they apply to events inside the frame automatically.
  • Averaging defaults can follow the season’s rhythm.

Finished seasons are deactivated. Create the next season well ahead — the year view and season planning need the frame before planning starts.
