The people directory

The people list
BASEThe directory of everyone in the organisation — names with certification alerts, role and department, contact, and status. Filter by group, search by name and email, and deactivate or reactivate in bulk.
The person profile
BASEThe profile is split into tabs — Overview, Work, Reservations, Documents, Admin, and Settings. Sensitive fields require a dedicated permission, and everyone can edit their own profile.
Add person
BASEOnly first and last name are required, plus the account name and email for the login account created at the same time. No password is set — the person gets an email link and picks their own.
Groups, departments, and roles
BASEDepartments are a kind of group and form the org chart GrandPlanner calls in. Group heads get extended permissions for their group, and production roles are independent of system roles.
Availability and reservations
BASEReservations, standing weekly patterns, shifts, and event calls decide whether a person is free. The planner warns on collisions, and approved leave automatically becomes reservations.
