Google Calendar

Google Calendar lets runorder push the events you are called to into your own Google calendar. Rehearsals and performances then sit alongside the rest of your commitments, without you keeping them in two places.

The connection is yours. It covers your account alone — colleagues each connect separately.

Connecting

Connect Google Calendar sends you to Google to sign in and approve. Afterwards the page names the account you are connected as.

What we ask for shows the scope before you approve: runorder asks to read and write events in your calendars, and nothing else. Not email, not Drive, not contacts.

No button showing

If Google Calendar is not configured for this runorder instance, no connect button appears. That is not a fault at your end — an admin has to set it up first.

Checking that it works

The page shows when it last synced, and Recent sync lists the most recent attempts.

When something fails, Google’s own error message is there. That is usually enough to tell an expired access token — where you simply reconnect — from a problem with one particular event.

Disconnecting

Disconnect ends the connection. runorder also asks Google to revoke the access, and removes the connection here whatever Google answers.

Events already sitting in your Google calendar stay there. If you want them gone, delete them in Google.
