The notifications inbox

Notifications is the in-app inbox: schedule changes, call sheets, timesheet decisions, draft updates, shift swaps, messages, and news alerts — everything lands here, whether or not you also get it by email.

Unread notifications show with a dot and count in the sidebar badge and in the browser tab title — “(3) runorder” — so you see what’s new without the app open. Click a notification to mark it read and go where it points; Mark all read clears the counter. The All and Unread tabs filter the list.

Messages to many

Those with the permission can send a message to a group, production, or an event’s called people from Compose message — it lands as a notification for every recipient. The checkbox to override recipient preferences forces delivery even to those who muted email; use it only when it’s urgent.

Email and push

Which notifications also go out by email — and whether browser push is on — you control yourself under Settings → Notification preferences. Push is enabled per device, with a choice of channels: conflicts, reminders, publishes, requests, and system.

Note

The inbox is always complete. Email and push are additions you can switch on and off — nothing disappears from the inbox because of it.
