Feature defaults

Admin → Feature defaults sets your organisation’s own default for the feature grid — the twelve switches that govern which tabs a project has. The defaults apply to one thing: new projects created with the Custom template.

Without a saved default grid, Custom projects start from the built-in Custom template’s grid. Save a grid here, and every future Custom project inherits it instead.

Using the page

Tick the features a typical free-standing project needs in your organisation — perhaps plan, participants, and files, but not scenes and call sheets — and choose Save defaults. Clear override removes the grid and falls back to the template’s own.

Note

Changes here only affect projects created later. Existing projects keep their setup — that’s adjusted per project under the project’s Settings tab.
