The timesheet flow — planned, clocked, approved
Link to this headingFrom planned shift through clock-in to approval. Covers averaging periods, leave, and the clock kiosk. Dense mono rows, coloured compliance indicators; the numbers are there.
Time planning
BASEThe week grid plans shifts per person; event calls appear inside the shift. Managers see everyone, others see their own row. Self-added shifts await approval, and reservations warn or block.
Time tracking
BASEYour own week — clock in and out or add manual entries, see planned against approved time, and submit the week for review when it's complete. The week is created automatically.
The timesheet period
BASEA period is one week, Monday to Sunday, with status Draft, Submitted, Approved, or Rejected. You can self-approve days before submitting; submitting and approval lock the period.
The approval queue
BASEThe queue gathers days awaiting review, per person. Approve or reject whole days, adjust individual entries with original times preserved, set cost centers, and export to CSV, Excel, or PDF.
Time clock
BASEThe simplified punch page for mobile — big buttons, a running timer, and automatic linking to the event you're called to. Break minutes are recorded at clock-out.
The averaging planner
BASELay planned hours across an averaging period with a weekly target and cap. Save drafts and snapshots, compare distributions, and get warnings when weeks breach the cap or labor law.
Leave
BASESubmit a leave request with a date range and reason; approval immediately turns it into reservations on the planner. Per-person balance ledgers, self-certification quotas, and the time bank live here.
Shift swaps
BASEPropose a shift exchange with a colleague — full swap, give away, or hours only. The counterparty responds first; simple swaps auto-approve, the rest go to a manager.
Exporting timesheets
BASEExport from the approval queue in CSV, plain text, Excel, PDF, or RTF — choosing between realized hours, planned versus realized, or everything including approval status. The filters control the selection.
Corrections and rejections
BASEDisagreements about recorded hours are handled in the approval flow — reject the day with a note, adjust the entry with original times preserved, or un-approve a decision. Everything is tracked in the history.
