Dashboard defaults per role
The page at /admin/dashboard is where you as an administrator decide
what the dashboard looks like for
those who have not customised it themselves. That covers every new
user the first time they sign in, and everyone who never touches
Customise. You reach it from the admin menu, next to Sidebar pins.
Setting the default for a role
Link to this headingPick the role at the top: Admin, Manager or User. The list below is that role’s widgets, in the order users get them. The tools are the same as on Customise: Move up and Move down for the order, Hide and Show for visibility. Reset to defaults clears every choice for the role, so it falls back on runorder’s built-in default.
The change applies at once to everyone in the role who follows the default. A user who has moved or hidden something themselves is overridden and notices nothing until they reset their own dashboard.
The page takes the permission to manage the dashboard. The Makeup times widget and the admin counts are off in every default until you turn them on here, or the user does.
